Farah's hopes
Farah is a young Palestinian girl living in Burj El Barajneh Camp in Lebanon.
Her father died when she was just four years old.
Now at twelve, her family find it difficult to support her and her siblings’ studies. Fortunately, she has been able to receive a scholarship and now studies at the Lebanese International School where she excels in her studies.
Although her family still struggle (her scholarship doesn’t cover book costs, transportation fees and registration fees) Farah remains optimistic about the future. We asked Farah what her hopes are for the future- her dream?
“For Palestine to become free”.
Interpal is marking 20 years of working on the ground in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank and Jordan, Our hope for the future is for Palestinians to no longer rely on basic supplies and emergency aid for their survival. Sadly, the need on the ground is still very real: if you would like to sponsor a Palestinian child, call us on 020 8961 9993 or email sponsorships@interpal.org
