A successful street collection in Birmingham!

Last week a team of 45 volunteers took
to the streets of Birmingham to raise money for Palestinian refugees. They were able to collect £2,881 in only two days –

Abdul, Interpal Volunteer, was very pleased: “To be able to put on the
Superman costume, take a bucket and go out with the Interpal family onto the
streets to collect for the people of Palestine was an amazing opportunity! I can’t
wait to see how Interpal will put the funds to use and I’m looking forward to
supporting and volunteering with Interpal in the future!” 

Halena, Interpal Volunteer, said: “It’s amazing
to see Ladypool Road filled with volunteers in teal t-shirts reminding us of all
of the Palestinians in need this Eid. They put a smile on everyone’s faces,
especially the children who really enjoyed the presence of the Ittihad Riders
and Superheroes.“
