Afsana, Walking for Palestine

Afsana organised a sponsored walk for Gaza, where over 30 people took part and helped raise £5,426. With support from her family and the local community Afsana also organised a food charity event and raised £3,100 for Interpal. In total £8,526 was raised for the children of Gaza!

“As a mother of 3 I feel a lot for the children affected by war and things that we take for granted is a day in day out struggle for so many others i.e.  Clean water, medical aid, shelter etc. I feel a great sense of satisfaction knowing that this money will help many children and families who are in great need. I’ve had fun and have learnt a lot through organising the events and have met lots of new people through this journey!” – Afsana
