We take a look back over the month of Ramadan in the occupied Gaza Strip to see how your donations made a difference to families in urgent need. Thank you for your continued support!
- We delivered Financial Aid to 1,493 families in Northern Gaza
- We distributed Zakat-ul Fitr to 250 families in need
- We distributed food vouchers to 1,520 families involved in our Child Sponsorship Programme
- 780 families received food parcels that last up to one month
- 670 families received fresh vegetable baskets
- 100 families received fresh meat and vegetables
- Hot iftar meals were distributed to 300 families in need across Gaza
- 70 elders received hot iftar meals at Al Wafa hospital
- 570 families received fresh bread
- We delivered hygiene kits to 80 families
- We provided 13 families in need with cooking equipment
- We delivered safe, movable flashlights and electrical lighting systems to 10 families, who might otherwise use dangerous alternatives
- We delivered essential items to 40 individuals with special needs, including wheelchairs, diapers, special milk, beds, walkers, iPads, mattresses, glasses and blankets
- We distributed rechargeable fans as an energy efficient solution to help protect 30 families from the elements
- We organised handicraft activities for more than 200 kindergarten children
- We renovated the homes of 4 families
- We distributed chicken, cooking oil, olive oil and rice to 190 families
- We bought Eid clothes, distributed Zakat ul-Fitr and held Eid celebrations for hundreds of children and their families
