We’re lucky to have supporters around the world who are eager to get involved to raise funds and awareness for Interpal. Not sure where to start? Get involved in any way that suits you:
Become an Interpalian:
What is an Interpalian? If you support the cause of the Palestinians then you’re already an Interpalian!
Will it require me to give up a lot of my time? No, being an Interpalian means you support the cause in your own time, whether that’s sharing/liking our posts or raising awareness for the work we do amongst your friends – it’s up to you when or how you do it. Remember small actions = big change!
What kind of things will I be able to do?
- Raise awareness of the Palestinian cause and Interpal’s campaigns through social media and word of mouth.
- Write a letter to your MP.
- Follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Linkedin).
What materials will be available to me?
- Our online handbook with guides on how to get involved.
- Creative ideas on how to raise awareness and advocate for the cause (e.g. templates for how to write to your MP).
Volunteer for us:
During busy campaign periods and Live Appeals we need volunteers to help us take donations and calls or take collections in local areas. If you’re able and happy to help out from time to time then email your details to volunteers@interpal.org and we’ll contact you when an opportunity arises.
What materials will be available to me?
- Online handbook
- A volunteers ‘Thank You’ pack.
Become an Intern:
If you’re looking for a new challenge or a change of career, spending some time at Interpal is a great way to hone your skills. We offer various internships across our departments at Head Office and our regional branches. You will have the opportunity to work with teams as diverse as: Fundraising, Communications and Marketing, Donations and Sponsorship. You will also have the opportunity to work on specific projects. We want you to have a productive and dynamic volunteering experience, whilst at the same time gaining crucial skills and qualities that can help with work, studies or any other aspect of your life.
How much time will I have to give up? We’re flexible and are able to work around your schedule. Most of our interns give up a few hours per week.
What materials will be available to me?
- Online handbook
- Welcome information including an organisational chart and floor plan.
- Intern goodie bag.
